Personal trainers, 1200 - calories diet, plastic surgery; these are but the tip of the ice berg in the multi-billion-dollar school of look-half-your-age. Scientists say that people function at their biological peak when they are in their 20s because the body runs like a well-oiled car that has been given petrol 2000. This probably explains why nearly half the whole world would spend money to look like they are 25; even if their joints do not agree.

Which is why, if I were 40 and ancient, I would be first in line to give an arm and leg to look like the four beach babes and hunks, while they were strutting their stuff and chilling out at Sentosa's Siloso Beach. It's the Singaporean (and hence, tamer) version of Baywatch … do you feel the adrenalin rising?

Nicole Loy, Female, 18 years old, Jurong Junior College

The first thing that strikes me about Nicole is her pan-Asian features and clear brown eyes. Which is why I was understandably nonplussed when she declared herself 100% Chinese. Though the 18 year old is genetically blessed with the correct combination of looks, the Jurong Junior college science student plays rugby and tans regularly to keep herself bronzed-looking and in shape, and I'll say, the results are very agreeable.

  1. I have the biggest bag from New Urban Male
  2. I have the smallest little pink devil keychain which "squeaks"
  3. I have the longest time taken to get myself ready to go out
  4. I cry when I see my friends crying
  5. I am a beach babe because the beach is the place I always look forward to be at
  6. If I had to choose, I would be a Frisbee because it flies and it's sporty
  7. I groove to hip hop and jazz because it lifts me off my seat and gets me moving
  8. At the beach, I am never without my essentials like bikini and towel.
  9. If I am caught in the rain while at the beach, I will change to my bikini and have fun with friends.
  10. You have had a great day at the beach. The icing that will top the cake is a cute hunk to walk past and smile.
  11. If people recognise me on the streets after this interview, I would say "Hieyee".

Tried - and - tested tip to looking and feeling good: Be yourself and feel comfortable

Jezreel Tan Swee Ling, 19 years old, Singapore Institute Management – Banking & Finance

Endorphins are feel-good hormones produced by the body after exercise. 19 - year old Jezreel from SIM's Banking and Finance must have accumulated a battery full of endorphins with all her dance sessions and outdoor activities. This is why this sunshine girl exudes confidence and has no qualms about laughing and living passionately. Very charming indeed.

  1. I have the biggest raucous laughter - someone told me my laughter can be heard a few classes away.
  2. I have the smallest guts to face cats.
  3. I have the longest passion for outdoor activities - hiking!
  4. I cry when I see little roasted ducklings.
  5. I am a beach babe because I'm tanned and have a slightly fitter looking body?
  6. If I had to choose, I would be an aphrodisiac because it makes everyone happy and there'll be merry.
  7. I groove to R & B because I love the rhythm of it!
  8. At the beach, I am never seen without my essentials like a towel to shield my face as well as to lie on when I am tanning. A bottle of tanning oil is important too.
  9. If I am caught in the rain while at the beach, I would continue playing volleyball or run to the nearby shelter if the lifeguard insists.
  10. You have had a great day at the beach. The icing that will top the cake is going home with a bronze looking tan and having a great time with my friends.
  11. If people recognise me on the streets after this interview, I would smile? But they got to say Hi to me first before I know they know me right?

Tried - and - tested tip to looking and feeling good: 2 litres of water daily and salad

Ruben Koh, 18 years old, Singapore Polytechnic

Ruben Koh is like my friendly neighbour next door. He will be a perfect fit in the neighbourhood of Mdm Tan in My Sassy Neighbour. Unassuming, courteous and obliging, Ruben is a SNAG, 18 years in the making, and oh, did I mention the Singapore Polytechnic student is in dragon boating too?

  1. I have the biggest crush on Jessica Alba.
  2. I have the smallest sister.
  3. I have the longest fingers.
  4. I cry when I see her cry.
  5. I am a beach hunk because my friends think so.
  6. If I had to choose, I would be a fruit blender because kiwi tastes best blended.
  7. I groove to Shakira's Hips Like That because it makes me just want to move along with the beat.
  8. At the beach, I am never seen without my essentials like my pair of board shorts.
  9. If I am caught at the rain while at the beach, I would enjoy the rain.
  10. You have had a great day at the beach. The icing that will top the cake is a hot babe waving at me.
  11. If people recognise me on the streets after this interview, I would say Hi.

Tried - and - tested tip to looking and feeling good: Study hard, play hard!

Chris Hui Kit Hua, 25 years old, National University Singapore Engineering Graduate

I have to admit I had my doubts prior to meeting Chris Hui, a 25 years old dude who is sucker for water sports. Engineering graduates and beach hunks sounded like curry tuned bad. But, as I discovered, there is still hope in the world. The newly inaugurated addition to the banking industry is polished but not sleek, cool yet vibes the correct amount of charisma.

  1. I have the biggest heart out to all my friends, family and love.
  2. I have the smallest patience for nasty and unfriendly people.
  3. I have the longest leg hair probably, and please don't ask to see them.
  4. I cry when I watch Da Chang Jin.
  5. I am a beach hunk because I was helping out the two poor scouts walking in the sun.
  6. If I had to choose, I would be a Frisbee because that's the closest to being a bird.
  7. I groove to Salsa because I aspire to be a Salsa King (in my own bedroom).
  8. At the beach, I am never seen without my essentials like Duh! My swim trunks or shorts lar.
  9. If I am caught in the rain while at the beach, I would dance in the rain.
  10. You have had a great day at the beach. The icing that will top the cake is a evening chill out at the beach bar with an ice cool beer and salsa or jazz blasting in the background.
  11. If people recognise me on the streets after this interview, I would probably scream and shout and say "he's my brother".

Tried - and - tested tip to looking and feeling good: Have a positive outlook
