If you were expecting a dark, twisted flick à la the decade old video game American McGee’s Alice, then you’re in for a major disappointment.
The movie is too safe and highly predictable. You have a quaint 1950s American style civilization with a marvelous soundtrack.
This makes a fantastic day out at the movies for those kids, and for all you fans of the feel-good superhero genre.
Trick or treat! This is a surprisingly decent outing that proffers more answers than questions.
The sheer number of romance films hitting theatres over the past year has since rendered the genre prosaic, and Love Happens does the claim no favours.
If you don’t like hippies or don’t particularly like seeing naked people partaking in interpretive dance, you will absolutely hate Taking Woodstock.
is not your little brother’s animated movie. It is dark & its stark portrayal of death & destruction makes it too heavy for young audiences.
This is an illuminating and tightly-woven tale of one man’s quest towards self-discovery.
If you are a fan of epic war battles, you would be disappointed that the film has little battle scenes.
If you are looking for a romantic love flick, Personal Effects is a definite no-go. But if it is a mild and emotionally nuanced film you are searching for, then you probably should give the movie a try.
This film receives our vote for the Rotten Tomatoes Award. We thought it should premiere at the Science Center instead.
The flick carries nothing groundbreaking throughout, but there is plenty of heart and charm in the characters.
