Barely a year since Gen 1 iPad was launched, iPad 2 is out:
- iPad2 weighs 1.3 pounds, 0.2 pounds lighter than iPad 1;
- it is slimmer at 0.33"; and
- ships with iOS 4.3, which includes a faster version of the Safari web browser
Apple added two cameras to the iPad 2, a stereo speaker and a gyroscope; new features at same old price (USD500)!

I think the new ipad will beat all tablets hands down. No doubt about it.
