Since we are all on a career topic here, i was wondering what are your aspirations?
What do you aim to work as after you graduate?

I have so many things I want to do and try.
I don't think I could narrow anything down. Although when I try, I just head off into I.T. which is all good. But couldn't see myself doing it forever.
Maybe a performer of some sort? Street theatre? I get a rush out of big audiences and crowds.
Aaaah... *shrugs* I wanted to be a psychologist when I was 10. I'll let ya know when it happens.

i want to travel space as an astronomer or astronaut in young days.
life will be so interesting if u have no fear that the stars will backstab u when u r not looking.
they might disappear on u for a period of time but u will know they are always there in your mind and heart.
they will always come back to u, maybe it will last even after your death, nevertheless u know they will come back.
u can talk to them when u r down. they might reply to u with a blink or two.
u know they can never hurt u directly unless they crash onto u, which will never take place until several thousands of years later if not millions.
u can shout at them all u want and they will not walk out of u, shout at u back or even try to poke u when u want no quarrel.
now i want to be a racer, when u race, there is nothing in your mind except to win and the thrill derived from it.
racing put your problems at ease and gives u a choice, just a choice if u want to continue with your life. if there is a point in continuing it.
if u do not want it, just understeer a bit or over steer a bit and problems will be solved. however will it really be solved?
it is a act of a coward and if a life is to be forgone, might as well allocate it to a more meaningful way.
no wonder there are always people around that wants war, cause there are the ways u can prove yourself u can do it... other than to reap profits.
enough said. wonder how come i am never so talkative in real life.

I want a job that doesn't tie be to the desk and involves my field of interest, i.e., getting me to shop around while I work. Something like a fashion buyer.
I love my present attachment job now coz it allows me to do it!

Just wondering, is it bad not to have an aspiration as we enter university? Cuz i'm hoping that uni life will give me a better idea of what i might wanna do. Although my ultimate dream is to sing/perform.
Anyone heard about the School of Music in NUS? Fact or fiction?

I will go for a low end career goal.
I hope to start a cleaning company and monopolize the local cleaners and public toilets mkt. Or grab 1/3 of the singapore school canteens ownerships. And start up a sandwich stall in Raffles City to spend time while the cash inflow is substained by the regular stalls rent and contracts from the various shopping centres and buildings for daily cleaning jobs by the foreigners or senior citizens

Yeah.. I've a friend who's going to Science this year but changing to Music course next year when it comes out. He's following his heart against his mother's wishes. I second him!
Seriously, I'd go for a variety of jobs I think. Not that these will be what I really want to do but that my degree(s) will shape me out to be a particular kind of worker and I will have to contribute to society in that manner, I guess. Comp Sci? So go into IT-related stuff... hopefully eventually switching to management-related jobs. Money will be important factor.. I've become more practical over the years.
I used to dream of becoming the following: basketballer, singer, policeman, pilot, etc.
Now, I see myself as a typical executive in an 8-to-5 job probably. Goals.. earn more money and do more charity.
