You guys ever encounter those bridal shop people doing roadshows? Commonly found in Suntec or Marina Square.
They try so hard to make you put down a deposit and convince you that due to inflation or whatsoever, future prices of bridal shoot packages will be so much higher. I've been 'tackled' so many times that everytime my gf and I walk past them, I try to do a detour. The sales pitch and technique is the same each time. The auntie or uncle will first say that we look very compatible. Then they will pester you, flatter you and do all they can to make you take a seat. After that, the real show begins. The auntie will take out a bunch of thick receipts and tell you about the NSman or undergrad who loves his gf so much that he had put down a 'tiny' deposit of $500. Then you look at your girl. She looks back at you. How do you avoid making your gf misunderstand that you are not being serious about her? Luckily my gf same frequency as me. We siam.
Hah went past Marina Square again. Saw a few couples being tackled. Pity the guy.

use your blain use your blain
why should you detour when you meet these kinda folks
stand your ground, proceed on your planned route
you can
1. tell the promoter you're a married couple
2. tell the promoter you've already signed up with the other booth
