Why is Tin Pei Ling has probably the most hated candidate from the PAP slate for GE2011?
Although everyone is ready to make a dig at poor Ms Tin for the fun of it, Singaporeans are not a dumb lot. We don’t jump to conclusions quickly. In fact, at every instant, people are trying to give Ms Tin a chance to prove herself. Since Ms Tin has already earned herself an easy entry into parliament by riding on the coattails of Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong, people are looking for some hint that she can in fact do her job well.
But she hasn’t given herself a chance. Time and again, she proves to us that she is incapable of understanding the needs of Singaporeans...

I think we should cut her some slack. People were given a choice and they've made a decision, so we should accept the results.
