Funkamania is back for its 14th incarnation!

If you are sick of tasteless steamboats, oily Bak Kwa and irritating probing of your private life by relatives you meet once a year, head down to City Hall for the finals of the most happening hip hop dance competition!

Organised by the NUS Cultural Activities Club, Funkamania XIV finals will be held on the 31st January 2009 (9.30 p.m.) at the majestic City Hall. Tickets at $16 are still available. And if you are wondering why we have to pay to watch Funkamania this year (Admission to Funkamania has been free for as long as this journalist can remember), this year's finals will be held as part of the Ching-gay City Alive party. This means for $16, you also get 1 drink, a People's Association Passion Card and party after Ching-gay.

Being funky students we all are, we must focus on our Funkamania. To enlighten the clueless about hip-hop and the competition, we bring you the who's who among the 8 finalist teams. Check out the team profile of every finalist in our feature!

We will see you at Funkamania XIV 2009. Meanwhile, collect lots of ang-baos and go easy on those Bak Kwa.
